Lil Prophet Releases First Single From "The Revolution"

Seasoned Christian Rap artist Lil Prophet released the first single from his upcoming album The Revolution. The song, "Heart of Courage," features Soldier Sound recording artist Pettidee. The full-length album is set to release June 26th, 2012 through CLG Distribution and Real Word Records.

CLG Distribution Welcomes Shackles Free Entertainment

CLG Distribution strikes yet another deal as it continues to pursue the goal of growing its Rap/Urban label and artist roster. The company has recently come to terms on a distribution deal with J. Robinson, founder of Shackles Free Entertainment and producer of Rhythm and Praise artist Stephen Thomas. Stephen Thomas is set to release his full-length album through Shackles Free and CLG on May 29, 2012. The first single, “True Praiser (Hustle Hard),” has gained over 9,000 hits to date.

“It’s such an eye opener to see God work through this deal. After many artists came and went through my studio for producer and sound engineer only services I realized I was being trained and called to begin this label. I bring over 10 years of music business and production experience to Shackles Free. I’ve seen local and national successes from artists I’ve worked with while they were new to the business. Now it’s time to take that experience and collection of artists I’ve recently work with and launch Shackles Free Entertainment. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to ink a deal with CLG. They’re such a great company and understand the fine line between business and ministry.”

CLG Inks Deal With Real Word Records

CLG Distribution is proud to welcome Real Word Records to its growing roster of rap/urban labels and artists. Currently home to rap artists Viktory, S.O.C.O.M., Zion, 7vnseal and more, CLG is poised to become a serious contender in the gospel rap genre.

Real Word Records is home to gospel rapper Lil Prophet. Known for his flavorful, energetic style, Lil Prophet is set to take his career to the next level. His upcoming album, The Revolution, is slated for release on June 26, 2012. A video will be shot for the first single "The Revolution" in May and distributed to major Christian video and online outlets. The label will also be pushing the single to Christian and Rhythmic terrestrial radio via a professional radio promoter.

Digital Distribution Update

We recently finished our partnership with 7digital and have already delivered our catalog. Your music either already has shown up or will over the next few weeks. 7digital is a privately held digital media delivery company based in the United Kingdom, offering downloadable music, video and movies to customers primarily within major European markets.

Last.fm has gone through several different stages, and we've negotiated with them on and off. Finally we are glad to announce that we have a very competitive deal in place and your music has alreay been delivered and is live. Last.fm is a music website, founded in the United Kingdom in 2002. It has claimed over 40 million active users based in more than 190 countries

We will begin delivering to Google Music next week so we expect for the catalog to be live around the middle of February. Google Music is an online music streaming service and online music store.

We have signed an agreement with Neurotic Media and are awaiting their to upgrade their ingestion to be DDEX compliant. As soon as we recieve word that they are, then we will deliver the catalog to them. Neurotic Media has established itself as the leading platform provider of private-label online and mobile entertainment download solutions.

Minneapolis-based Fades Away have emerged with their own savory brand of highly energetic, intense Christian rock. Their latest album, Perceptions, shows tremendous growth in both the musicianship of the individual members and their collective ability to craft melodically radical nuggets of assailing ear candy. iTunes has just launched two new, huge "stores" - Brazil and "Latin America" (which includes the countries of Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela).
